Alpine Crushed Velvet

I used Alpine Crushed Velvet to make embroidered Christmas stockings (red, blue, green and gold) for the whole family (they came out wonderful!). Then I made a large Christmas tree skirt with the white velvet, to display the Christmas village. But my son gave me a train set to go under the tree, so I needed more to make an even bigger tree skirt! The lights reflect off the ripples in the velvet and it really DOES look like snow! I'm also making another, smaller, tree skirt in the emerald green velvet, covered with vintage sequin patches. It's sturdy, it's easy to sew, it didn't shed all over, so it's just a great product. Thank you Fabric Warehouse for carrying this!!
