Fiber Cushion is a lower cost alternative to the traditional Polyurethane based upholstery foam that you would expect in a living room coach or chair. Fiber Cushion is made up of UV stable Fiber designed for outdoor and indoor applications when project budget matters.   Not every project needs expensive poly foam for cushioning.    When you purchase patio furniture online, it comes with a lower quality version of our Fiber Foam.     

Our fiber foam has the highest density of any comparable product on the market.    Made to last, firm to the touch and comfortable to sit on.    Most people find our fiber foam a little too firm for sleeping on.

PRO:   This product is easy to shape, cut and customize.   Use a sharp scalloped bread knife to custom cut your fiber cushion to any size you need.   

PRO:   Needing to add or remove a little thickness?   Because of the construction of Fiber Foam, you can peal away an inch quite easily.    Inversely, its easy to use a spray adhesive to add a layer of fiber foam to get the right thickness for your project.  Check our site for the ES200 spray in order to glue two layers together.   

CON:   Because this product is a FOAM ALTERNATIVE, it is not going to have the lifespan of a piece of foam the same size.  If you sit on a chair for 8 hours a day, five days a week.... Spend the money on Poly Foam.         

TEST RESULTS:  The owners of Fabric Warehouse used "Fiber Cushion" on their patio furniture two years ago and the chairs are still perfect!  Out of 8 chairs, the one chair that gets used the most often is showing slight signs of compression and the owner is considering adding 2 inches of the poly foam to give that one chair a little extra plump'ness.
