REGAL Fabric

Family owned and operated, Regal Fabrics was established in 1987 by Herb and Arlene Kahan who imported European upholstery fabrics for American furniture manufacturers. Within 10 years Regal had built a solid reputation for quality, service and delivery, securing its position as “The Tapestry Source” in the days when novelty tapestry fabrics were used in furniture, bags, vests and just about everything else.

20 years later, Regal has a full design studio creating original, copyright protected designs in a wide range of fabric constructions. Our customers look to us for trending design, colors and collections as well as our large assortment of beautiful plain fabrics in a full range of colors and textures at great prices.

Though Regal is much larger now and selling a lot more sofa fabrics than novelty designs, we remain a family owned and operated business. We supply customers from many industries all over the world. Major new collections are introduced twice a year during Showtime at our newly renovated showroom in High Point NC.

Regal Fabrics creates beautiful woven and print upholstery fabrics that are designed and copyrighted in the US and manufactured in Europe and China under exclusive agreements with weaving mills. Our design studio and operations are based in Middleton Massachusetts where our large inventory supplies our many furniture and home furnishings manufacturers and fabric distributors.
