Our outdoor Sunbrella fabrics are solution-dyed acrylic canvas built to live outside year-round, and we group the Sunbrella Canvas line into two families so you can pick the right weight for your project.

Group 1: Sunbrella Awning Fabrics

Awning fabrics are waterproof, thick, and ultra durable against wind, rain, snow, and sun. This is the group to choose for retractable and stationary awnings, canopies, boat and equipment covers, and any application that has to shed water and shrug off UV exposure season after season.

Group 2: Furniture-Weight Sunbrella Canvas

Furniture Weight, or non-awning, Canvas is water friendly and sometimes water repellent. It is softer, easy to sew, and great for outdoor upholstery — patio cushions, chair slings, throw pillows, umbrellas, and daybeds where drape and hand feel matter as much as durability.

Choosing Between the Two
