outdoor tablecloth fabric by the yard
Buying outdoor tablecloth fabric by the yard is the easiest way to dress a patio, deck, or picnic table that doesn't fit standard sizes. Cut exactly the length you need, choose a print that suits your space, and make a cover built for sunny afternoons, sudden spills, and backyard parties.
Choosing the Right Outdoor Table Fabric
Not every fabric handles fresh air and messy meals equally well. Before you order, think about how and where your table will be used.
Fabric Types to Consider
- Vinyl tablecloth fabric wipes clean quickly, making it a favorite for kids' tables and casual dining.
- Oilcloth by the yard offers bold, classic prints with a smooth, coated surface.
- Laminated cotton fabric combines the look of cotton with a water-resistant finish.
- Coated polyester provides a softer drape for a more tailored, linen-like look.
What to Look For
Check each product's width against your table, and add extra length for an overhang. Look for water-resistant or wipe-clean finishes, colors that complement your outdoor furniture, and edges that can be hemmed or left raw if the material won't fray.
