pillow insert dacron
A great pillow cover deserves a filling that does it justice, and a pillow insert dacron option is one of the easiest ways to get a plump, polished look. Dacron is a polyester fiber that adds soft loft and smooths out corners, so your finished throw pillows and cushions look full instead of flat or lumpy.
Why Choose a Dacron Pillow Insert
Polyester fill and Dacron wraps are popular with home sewists and upholsterers for good reason. They hold their shape, resist clumping, and are generally a friendly choice for people who prefer to avoid feathers.
- Loft and comfort: a soft, springy feel that rebounds after use
- Clean lines: Dacron wrapped foam rounds out edges for a tailored finish
- Easy care: polyester holds up well in everyday living spaces
What to Look for When Shopping
Size and Fit
Pick an insert that matches your cover or runs slightly larger for a fuller, overstuffed look. A snug fit keeps decorative pillow forms from shifting.
Fill Style
Choose a polyester fiberfill pillow for squishy softness, or a Dacron-wrapped foam core when you want firmer structure for seat cushions.
