What Is Flocked Velvet or Flocking Velvet?

Flocked velvet is usually 100% polyest with a glued construction between the base fabric and the velvet fibers.   This fabric was a shimmer to it that is common in shadwo boxes, stage curtains and other low impact uphlostery projects.  We think the best use for these fabrics are curtains, wall coverings, and low use upholstery.    These fabrics are almost always a solid color but may come as a crushed velvet as well.
