Woven from 100% vinyl-coated polyester, this fabric is perfectly engineered for applications that demand extra strength. Designed to withstand the elements, Phifertex Jacquards will stay flexible in all climates and features Microban protection. Phifertex Jacquards is easy to cut, sew and clean. This fabric is strong enough to support human weight, making it a fantastic choice for sling chairs and other patio furniture. With a 93% shade factor, you can easily sew snap-on panels out of Phifertex Jacquards to create sun shades and protectors to cover hard glass windows or clear vinyl windows (such as those on your boat) to further extend their life. It also makes for a durable pergola canopy or other shade on your patio, or as a roller shade to control light in your home. This fabrics certifications include ASTM E84-07, California Flammability Regulation (Bulletin 117, Section E), California Prop 65 Compliant , FMVSS 302, GREENGUARD Gold Certified, and NFPA No. 101 Class A Rating.
Please note this fabric is made mostly for outdoor seating so it has a tight weave, If you were considering this for a beach bag please know it may not filter sand very well. We reccomend ordering a swatch to see if this fabric would work for your project
